  Mi Young Chung, DDS

  Dentist

  The mother of two young daughters, Dr. Chung knows the importance of making the dental experience fun and painless for both children and adults. A graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, she has received numerous awards for outstanding performance, including ones from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American College of Prosthodontics, and was asked to join the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Fraternity–one of the highest honors awarded to dentists. She is a standing member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the West Los Angeles Dental Society, and the Punjabi Dental Society, and constantly updates her skills with hundreds of hours of post-graduate training in all aspects of oral care. In addition to speaking English, Dr. Chung has a native proficiency in both Korean and Spanish. Away from the practice, she enjoys watching movies and traveling with her family.

  Minju David Yi, DDS

  Dr. Minju David Yi is a dedicated and experienced dentist with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Southern California and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus in Biostatistics from Loma Linda University. Dr. Yi’s expertise spans clinical dentistry, research, and public health, making him a well-rounded healthcare provider. Dr. Yi served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where he practiced as a General Dentist and contributed to multiple significant research studies. His time in the military, including positions at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan, and Travis Air Force Base in California, helped him refine his clinical skills while fostering leadership and mentorship. He also conducted research that was published in respected scientific journals, further contributing to the advancement of dental and medical knowledge. His educational background is distinguished by honors, including Magna Cum Laude recognition at the University of California, Riverside, and the Golden Key Honor Society. His research in biostatistics and data analysis, particularly during his time at Loma Linda University, has helped shape his approach to evidence-based dental practice. Dr. Yi’s bilingual proficiency in English and Korean, along with his intermediate Japanese skills, enables him to provide care to diverse populations. In addition, his commitment to improving patient outcomes is driven by his background in biostatistics and public health, ensuring he remains dedicated to the ongoing enhancement of clinical knowledge and practice. Outside of his clinical career, Dr. Yi has been actively involved in various academic and volunteer activities, demonstrating a passion for both teaching and community service.
